Peniel Baptist Academy participates in the FACCS Spelling Bee Competition each year. Our FAACS Regional Spelling Bee Competition is held in Jacksonville, Florida. Students who compete and earn 1st-4th place in the FACCS Regional Spelling Bee are eligible to compete in the FACCS State Spelling Bee Competition held in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Kim Flateau is our coordinator for this competition. She spends a great amount of time on the preparation of the Spelling Bees as well as taking students to participate. We appreciate all she does to help our students to be successful in this competition.
FACCS Creative Writing
The FACCS Creative Writing Competition allows Peniel students the opportunity to refine their writing skills in a variety of different writing genres from poetry to essays. All students in grades 1st through 8th are eligible to compete. All creative writing pieces are sent to the Regional Creative Writing Completion where they are evaluated and given a rating. Each piece earning the highest evaluation and a rating of Excellent in each category will be sent to the State Creative Writing Competition to compete.
