Florida Tax Credit Scholarship
The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship provides tuition assistance for low income families.
Step Up for Students is the Scholarship Funding Agency (SFO) for Putnam County. Scholarship awards are based on a family's total monthly income. Scholarships must be renewed every year. Please visit the website for more detailed scholarship information. Peniel Baptist Academy has no control on whether or not your family will receive a scholarship. The McKay Scholarship
The McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program provides tuition assistance for students with disabilities. The Department of Education Office of Independent Education and Parental Choice (School Choice) manages the McKay Scholarship for the state of Florida. In order to qualify for a McKay Scholarship the student must have attended a Florida public school the school year prior to the scholarship, must be enrolled in a Florida public school at the time the intent is filed by the parent, must have an active IEP (Individual Education Plan), and must be at least 5 years old by Sept. 1st of the scholarship year. Peniel Baptist Academy has no control on whether or not your family will receive a scholarship. PBA has a limited number of slots available for McKay students and can only minister to students who suffer with academic processing disorders.
